New Patients

For information about our practice please see the menu on the right.

New patients are welcome. Your first visit will consist of a comprehensive evaluation of your medical condition, an assessment of the present state of your oral health, an evaluation of the jaw joint and surrounding muscles, an evaluation of gum tissue and each individual tooth, and an oral cancer screening.

If esthetics are a concern, consultation can be provided at this time. Any other specific concerns can also be addressed.

A cleaning is generally not scheduled until the doctor assesses your individual needs, unless otherwise requested.

Before leaving, you should have a detailed analysis of treatment recommendations, including expected timelines and anticipated fees. Treatment can be tailored to meet your needs and concerns.

A maintenance schedule will also be proposed for continuing care. Maintenance schedule is customized based on the state of your oral hygiene and a disease prevention assessment. These maintenance appointments involve a cleaning and a recall examination. They will also permit us to help you maintain a good state of dental health because we can detect developing problems early, before they worsen and require greater time and expense. We believe that prevention plays an extremely important role in helping you maintain your teeth for life.

In order to minimize wait time, you can download the necessary paperwork and bring it with you to your examination. Also make sure to bring: Medical info - List of medications, illnesses etc. and if you have insurance, have your Group number and ID number ready.
